Alongside bringing disruptive high-quality products to consumers, Mondelez Kinh Do set its priority to elevate the festive cheer by bringing back the true spirit of Tet. With that notion, the company joins hands with Department of Culture, Sport Ho Chi Minh City and People's Committee of District 8 to organize the unique Tet flower market "Tren Ben Duoi Thuyen" Binh Dong wharf – District 8 in preparation for Tet festival. It is a part of a series of cultural events to welcome the national traditional New Year, held for the first time in Ho Chi Minh City under the City People's Committee's direction and support, to support gardeners and local shop owners especially after a difficult and unstable year.

Tet flower markets for long have been a crucial part of Tet celebration culture to Vietnamese people. Over the years, the flower floating market’s busy atmosphere at Binh Dong wharf has created the characteristic spring in Saigon. The boats full of Tet flowerpots all the way from Mekong Delta have long been familiar to people around the Binh Dong wharf area every Tet coming back. At this unique flower market, we can find a wide variety of flowers to decorate the New Year, such as apricot blossom, chrysanthemum, marigold, orchids…
To make consumers not only see the arrival of Tet but feel the spirit of Tet, this year, this unique flower market with the participation of more than 500 flower boats will be transformed into a must-see destination of this Tet Holiday and given a glory that never seen before.

Set to be opened for public viewing and trading begins on 1st February and lasts until morning 11th February this year. The entire Ben Binh Dong street will be embellished with vibrant Tet decoration. The area will be decorated with apricot and peach blossom trees to usher in the nation’s biggest holiday.
To liven up the Tet atmosphere, organizer has prepared many well-designed check-in places and live music performances, including the spectacular traditional music on the boat to be performed daily during this time.
Beyond the giving life the magic of Tet, to bring a joyous Tet Festival to underprivileged people, Mondelez Kinh Do associates with HCMC Business Association of High Quality Vietnamese Goods to give out 3,000 gift packs to workers who are unable to back to home town for Tet, and joins hand with HCMC Women Charity’s Association, Amcham Hanoi and Hung Yen province Red Cross to bring 1,500 gift packs to old people, disadvantaged children.
